Woolwax™ 12 oz. aerosol spray can.

Woolwax™ is the thickest and most wash-off resistant lanolin based undercoating available. Woolwax® has almost no smell.

Woolwax™ is the perfect corrosion inhibitor, penetrant and lubricant for almost any application. Works great to prevent rust on automobiles, hinges, garage door tracks. snow throwers, any outdoor power equipment. Woolwax™ is excellent for chains as it will migrate into the inner pins to provide long term protection.

Most penetrants and lubricants are very thin and made primarily of solvents (alcohol, mineral spirits, etc.). That's not necessarily a bad thing, as they creep down very quickly to the desired area, do their thing (unfreeze a bolt, etc.), and then evaporate. Woolwax™ on the other hand has no solvents. It will take Woolwax® longer to creep down where it needs to go, because it is so thick, but it will get there. The difference is that Woolwax™ will not evaporate and will provide indefinite protection (years) in an enclosed environment that is shielded from the elements.

Woolwax® is made from raw woolgrease/lanolin.

Woolwax® sprays on wet and does not dry out.

Woolwax® creates a thin lanolin film barrier to keep moisture and oxygen away from the base metal. * Solvent free. Environmentally friendly. * Always active and creeping into inaccessible areas. *

Woolwax® will thicken to a gel film after applied and is very resistant to wash off. * Provides vehicle undercarriage protection for a full season. * Enclosed areas (doors, frame-rails, rocker-panels, etc., that are not exposed to road-wash will be protected indefinitely (years). This is the advantage of no solvents. There is nothing to dry up and evaporate.

Woolwax® is a "honey" color, but when applied appears fairly clear.

Woolwax® is a very clean product as opposed to messy black products.

Woolwax® is a non-drip formula. We make it to be as thick as possible to resist wash-off, yet still easily able to be sprayed.

Woolwax® is a penetrant and lubricant also used for corrosion prevention. It is a non-toxic, non hazardous, long lasting, lanolin based liquid that is used in highly corrosive marine and automotive environments. Woolwax® is also successfully used in the aircraft and manufacturing industries as well as for home maintenance. Woolwax® is used by government facilities, state & local DOT's., utility companies, agriculture, manufacturing and industrial plants of all industries. Woolwax® is also relied upon by elevator, forklift, and garage door companies worldwide as the premier long lasting lubrication agent.

Woolwax® is formulated from woolwax (lanolin), highly refined petroleum oils and selected agents to provide corrosion control, penetration, lubrication and water displacement. This long lasting formula contains no solvents, will not dry out and will penetrate to the base of all metals, providing long term lubrication and corrosion protection.

Woolwax® is non-conductive and will not harm electrical connections. Make connections first and then spray with Woolwax®. Woolwax® is non-drying and will create a film barrier to provide long term corrosion protection. Woolwax® works great to stop corrosion on battery terminals.

Best Undercoating

I have used both the other popular products FF and NHOU neither hold up as well as Woolwax it's adheres better doesn't seem to get wash away easily.

Complements air sprayer

I mostly buy the larger buckets, but I keep some aerosol cans handy for tight spots. It goes on a bit thinner and runnier, but firms up after a day. Paired with the flexible hose I can get into nearly every spot on my car for total coverage.

Easy to apply and covers well

This was my first time using a wax or oil based undercoating. It covered well and was easy to apply. It did not have a strong odor like some other products. It’s been applied for about a year now and lasts pretty well. Have to be careful as the car wash pressure spray will wash it off but once aware of that it’s no big deal. I also purchased a gallon bucket and the spray gun and it worked flawlessly.

Great product

Love this stuff! Use it undercoat my truck and lubricate various things around the house and on vehicles. I think this is the first product I’ve purchased that actually does what the manufacturer says it will do. I don’t have the proper setup to get the compressor kit version but I’m sure that works just as well. It definitely clings to surfaces as described even with a weekly trip to the car wash!

Easy apply

I got this for my New England car as we se a lot of salt here. It went on well and easy. We used about 10 cans for the whole underside.

2nd Purchase

Purchase the smaller kit with the aerosol can attachments previously and was satisfied. The 12 aerosol can purchased may seem like overkill, but I have a 2010 Tacoma where the frame is on a rust watch by the factory/manufacture and will use them for a semi-annual touch-up. I find it sad that a manufacture of Toyotas capabilities has continued to produce a frame that isn't more rust resistant than this when more rust resisant material is available.
