The Ultimate Wool Wax Sprayer for Undercoating Applications

This is the Woolwax® PRO applicator. It’s considered the best undercoating sprayer available for Woolwax® undercoat applications. It’s been specially developed and modified for efficient and effective use as a wool wax sprayer.

This complete set includes:

Modified internally to apply Woolwax® undercoat
Adjustable nozzle for flow control
Includes (3) clear quart bottles with caps
Includes 24” flexible open-end wand
Includes 18” flexible 360º extension wand

Application Notes & Usage Tips

Note: The 32” 360º optional long wand may not work well depending on the temperature, compressor psi, and product viscosity. This long wand can easily be shortened by removing the barbed fitting at the end, cutting the tube, and replacing the barbed fitting. Because Woolwax® is thicker than most other undercoats, the ideal wand length is about 18”. At that length, it works perfectly with Woolwax®. Thinner products may work with longer lengths.

Compressor Pressure Recommendation

Most undercoating sprayer setups work best at 70–90 psi.
Compressors around 125 psi are common and should not affect application.
The tank size matters—use a minimum 3-gallon tank to avoid PSI drop-off during spraying. Smaller compressors may not be adequate for consistent spray.

Practical Tips

Consider a $10–$17 air regulator to keep pressure consistent at the gun.
Do not attempt to remove the fitting at the bottom of the gun handle—it uses a 1/4” standard fitting.
Attach directly from the air hose to the gun using a male quick connect.

Cleaning & Maintenance

No cleaning is needed after spraying Woolwax®.
Just let Woolwax® sit and thicken in the bottle, then restore with vigorous shaking.
You may clean the gun if desired by flushing with vegetable oil (linseed, soybean, etc.).

Rust proofing gun

Works like they said it would. Sprays the wool wax very nice . Wish the rubber hoses where longer but a great product

Good spray gun!

As my first time applying a product such as Woolwax, i went for the spray gun that had some decent options and accessories. This one in particular looked like it would work well and I feel that it performed just right. I was even able to apply the Woolwax black product on a 50* day without any issues. I'm looking forward to spraying the rest of my cars.

About 1 month ago I purchased the pro series spray gun, PSI regulator and 2 wand set to spray Woolwax black on my vehicles. When I received the items there was no male nipple hose adapter provided. Buyers be aware out of the box it is not plug and play. After installing the hose adapter I found the spray gun worked as described in 50 degree climate. A day later I attempted to spray in 25 degree weather and had issues with the Woolwax solution thickening. Once the solution began solidifying the spray thickness became inconsistent and blotchy. When in warmer weather I found the air regulator accessory a good purchase. The regulator helped eliminate overspray and provided a consistent spray thickness. My vehicles now look like they were professionally sprayed. My only gripe is that the 24 inch wand broke within 15 minutes of me using it. The hose popped off the “tail end” and would not hold a seal after reconnecting it. I resolved the issue by cutting the wand shorter and reconnected the tail end, which then held its seal. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Works really really well I warm the bottles with woolwax in microwave for 30-40 secs and spray away.

Did it myself

I had done my homework and found that Woolwax is one of the top undercoating products on the market so I began looking for a contractor to do our 3 vehicles,I could not as all local contractors were booked atleast 6 months out so I ordered the Progun and 3 gal of the black undercoating and did them all myself,easy to spray and control gun with the wands,able to hit those hard to reach places and superior coverage,it also looks great,I taped off areas I did'nt want touched,It was in the 40's when I sprayed so I warmed my undercoating by sitting it in front of the fireplace prior.Great product and quality.

I purchased this to undercoat vehicles with before I was finished with my first vehicle I figured out how to make the adjustments with the nozzle and pressure the ones with the 360° tip did not work so well still trying to dial it in overall the gun works great I would buy another one

worth every penny

This gun works fantastic, highly recommend, i ran it with a 200psi 20 gallon compressor, regulated down to 70 psi.

Great applicator

Worked perfect for the DIY specialist. Wish the supplied extensions were a little smaller diameter to reach the hard to get too, small access points in the rear fenders. Other than that.. worked flawlessly.

Tree Service

Great kit! I’ve got at fleet of trucks and equipment to treat. Already did a few plow rigs. Sprays good! Quality components and these guys have the longest hose whip available. What a value with the 3 pots u can keep going and I’d rather support a biz in my home state.

Pro gun

Gun worked great used it with their air regulator too only issue i had was with the 360 degree nozzle it barely puts out any wax i have zero confidence it got enough isnide frame and rockers with it and i did exactly as instructed other nozzles worked great though sprayed on thick and quick

Aerospace PM

Very happy with this product. First purchased a different sprayer and it only lasted an hour. Can stripped out and trigger bent to side. When I received this one I sprayed a gallon and didn’t have any problems. 5 stars so far.

Ideal for undercoating

This pro gun makes undercoating a piece of cake. The gun itself works exceptionally well and is light, but solid, and easy to use. On and off the trigger results in immediate bursts of spray. The bottles are great and it's always good to have a few handy so when you're under the vehicle and run out, you can have more ready to thread on. The wands work really good and make it easy to coat the inside of the frame with the 360 tip. Even the straight through wand is really handy when you want or need a less atomized spray. The wands are sturdy but pretty flexible. Just be sure not to over bend (kink) them or the pressure vent on the gun will burp its contents. Easy to avoid this though. The only enhancement I'd love to see is a quick release option for the wands. I know the pressure pot version has them but I'd love to see it added to the pro setup.

Undercoating Applicator

Fantastic customer service and a pleasure to deal with. Sprayer functions great, and being able to purchase replacement parts is a massive positive. I'd recommend purchasing the regulator through woolwax as well to easily set the pressure to the gun.

Pro Sprayer

This is my first experience undercoating, but it seemed easy enough so I jumped in. I’m very happy with the quality of the sprayer. I warm the bottles of Wool Wax in hot water before I spray to thin them out a little. I have no issue spraying inside my heated garage all winter long. The product doesn’t drip and only goes where you spray it, so the mess is very minimal.

Great product

I initially bought a case of the aerosol cans, which worked well on my other vehicles. But, I bought a new Canyon and decided to buy the Pro gun, 2 wands, 4 full quart containers, and a 2.5 gallon jug of the Black WoolWax. The gun works great and puts the product on twice as fast. The gun also puts the product on more smoothly. In total, I had 3.5 gallons of the product and was able to do my new Canyon, my father-in-law's Silverado, and my buddy's 2008 Silverado. If you live in a region that gets snow fall and sees road salt, or de-icing chemicals, do yourself a favor and buy the gun. The aerosol cans are great for small jobs (ATV's, trailers, etc), but the gun really is a step above the aerosol cans to do a vehicle.

A Must buy

Don’t have anything to compare this with but I’m happy. I have a harbor freight 29 gallon Air Compressor. I used this sprayer on a 50 degree day running 90 Psi and had no issues. The Gun appears to be High quality and I chose this over the cheaper ones as seen on Amazon. You know what they say Buy once Cry once, Do it right the first time.

Pro gun review

I purchased the pro gun kit to spray my Jeep. I wanted to do the job myself since I do all of the work on my Jeep. I was very impressed with the quality and the price and also the ease of operation. Great Quality

I bought the PRO gun because I'm kinda tired of buying cheap Asian products, and although I don't plan on using this frequently, I do expect to be using it for the next 20 years. The quality does appear to be inline with the price. I'm not familiar with spray guns, so this may be obvious to some. There is a hole on the top of the portion of the gun that the undercoating containers thread into, so if the gun is tilted at an extreme angle or tipped on it side for too long there will be a mess of WW flowing out from the hole. Not a big deal, just not noted anywhere that I'm aware of.

Great sprayer, you can buy everything you need to DIY

Sprayer works great for both thick and thin lanolin under coatings, plus you can buy extra attachments or replace worn hoses easily. This kit will give you the best bang for your buck.
