Woolwax Spray Can Undercoat Kits 4, 6, or 12 cans Straw/Black

Have used Fluid Film in the past, but found this in black, and tried it. Very happy with the coverage, and expect it to work very well. I bought the six pack, but plan on buying in bulk next fall. Seems to be a bit thicker than FF. Good product

Purchased both 4 pack of clear and 4 pack of black and undercoated my brand new Toyota Tacoma. A few weeks after purchasing my vehicle, I noticed flash rusting. I Undercoated the whole truck with about 2.5 cans total and results were great. There is not a sign of rust on the frame and the undercoating holds up well even after taking it off road. Very pleased with this product and will definitely use it again.

I received my 4 cans and they were well packaged. I have a 15 yr old Pickup that spent 12 yrs in Denver, CO. I wish I had used your product when it was new. I treated both insides of my rear fenders because it is a know problem area. I recently got a new Mustang and I'm treating it underneath. New vehicles are better at fighting Rust, but adding rustproofer gives me peace of mind. Thanks for a great price, too.

I've been using Wool Wax for a while now. Works great. The handle is well worth having, makes for an easier job.

Woolwax spray cans are awesome. Was looking for a way to apply Woolwax to the underside of my car this winter without buying an air compressor/sprayer. This did this trick! The extended spraying tube allowed me to apply Woolwax to the inside of the frame as well. Will be doing this every year before winter!

Quick & fast delivery. First time using this product. I do like it so far but only time will tell. Only suggestion I can make is having a chart to state about how many spray cans or better yet how many ounces per vehicle. Like full size truck, midsize truck, or small car.

1st time user. Product goes on great ! Only used 5 cans on the underside of a full size RAM pick up! The included hose works great for door bottoms, wheel wells & rockers!

The product itself (the WoolWax) is awesome. I put it on a 2015 F150 that had never previously been undercoated. The truck frame and underbelly had some corrosion from 9 winters, road salt, and 140k miles, but nothing bad enough to need to be replaced. I only needed 8 cans to complete the entire truck (did not need to do rocker panels or doors b/c of aluminum body panels). It does not go on super smooth out of the aerosol cans (it looks kind of bubbled upon application), but the functionality of the product cannot be denied. The bubbled look does get better after about a day. It seems like it somewhat runs together to look more smooth. The little tube with the 360-degree nozzle works great, but I had a bugger of a time getting the adapter straw to fit the aerosol can nozzle. There was a bulge in the straw when I opened it and it would not fit. I had to use a Dremel to cut the top 1/8" off the straw to get a clean cut that would fit. Otherwise, it works well. I didn't even use the adapter gun...It looks like it probably works great, but it was just as easy for me to simply use my finger to spray the product. I used the remaining 4 cans to undercoat my wife's 2023 Chevy Traverse. Was able to do almost the entire vehicle with 4 cans. Will probably need to order 2 more cans to complete that job though, including the rocker panels. Last thing...I read reviews on various websites regarding the smell of the WoolWax lingering after application. The product definitely has a unique odor, but the odor is not offensive and not obnoxious. The odor subsided in about 24 hours. Great product.

Turned my "trusty rusty" in to just plain ol' "trusty". Western Montana started using corrosive road treatments a few years ago and my classic Toyota really paid the price for it. WOOLWAX to the rescue! If it's you're first time buying this product: however much you think you need, add 40%. 1. It's easy to over apply at first. 2. It's easy to underestimate the overall surface area under a vehicle. 3. After you complete your first WOOLWAX project, you'll want to put it on every piece of steel you own. Lawn mowers, four wheelers, motorcycles, mailboxes, the old corrugated tin roof on the shed. Everywhere you look you'll see something that is begging for a shot of WOOLWAX. Came with a free decal That I proudly put on my ol' YOTA and a keychain. I've been telling every farmer I know what a huge money saver this is compared to replacing old stuff. I’ve been using this for years, I get it in quantity and in the spay cans, the spray cans are awesome for everything, door hinges, hood latch’s, to suspension touch ups, I just used it on my kayak paddles, they are two piece and slide together and pull apart, lubed the ends, and now they don’t stick when I try to pull them apart, what an awesome product.

I purchased woolwax (aerosol) after previously using both surface shield (bulk) and fluid film (aerosol) for rustproofing my truck. Compared to fluid film and surface shield there is almost no smell which is great. Woolwax is also considerably thicker than either product. The 360° wand worked better than expected getting good spray and no clogging issues, emptied the whole can, only issue is that the straw part comes out of the tip very easily, this happened several times to me while spraying rockers and inside doors making a bit of a mess, I might try supergluing it in next time, hence 4 stars vs 5. In contrast the 360° fluid film had about half the product leak at the cap and make an enormous mess. I started my own test of the three to see what seems to hold up the best as most reviews I find are sponsored, it's only been a month so far but woolwax still looks like it did on day 1, also less bugs than SS or FF for what it's worth. I'll try to update this review after a year with the results. I also have the woolwax pro gun which I have used to spray the surface shield and it's working great.

Never used woolwax, and also never applied an undercoat myself, but this went great. The black color looks awesome and the aerosol cans made it really easy to apply to the underside of my F150. Extremely pleased. Probably when I need to re-apply in another 2yrs I'll buy the actual spray gun instead of the cans, because these probably aren't the most efficient....cost & material-wise (which woolwax does list in the FAQs)

Tacomas are notorious for being reliable trucks, unless the frame rusts out. I treated my 2011 for the past three years since I bought it. I took a wire brush to any surface rust then used Ospho to freeze the rust and applied woolwax. I don’t know why this technique isn’t practiced by everyone with a truck. The last order included enough for my dad’s Sierra and I think it was applied in the nick of time. Salt will ruin your frame if you don’t use woolwax. Highly recommended. Only thing I would do differently is get a sprayer and buy it by the gallon instead of by the can. They did the job though.

This is the 2nd time I’ve applied it to the bottom of my Toyota. The last application held up well. Touching it up yearly is probably a great way to save your frame and undercarriage from corrosion. Not very expensive and easy enough to do. Using wheel ramps and it took me under an hour to do it all with the aerosol cans.

Ordered 6 spray cans, along with a sprayer handle and extension tube. This is the first time I've bought the spray cans and applied it myself. Application is a lot messier without the compressed air and professional sprayer system! The spray can, handle, extension tube and even the nozzle get very slippery, occasionally coming apart while spraying. This stuff is meant to stick, so not fun cleaning up afterward. Next year I'll break down and buy the professional style sprayer system.

I bought my dad's car which I spent some time close to the ocean in Florida. Mechanics will call these beach cars because they can beceecognized by more rust underneath. I had a dealership look overcthe vehicle. Nothing was unsafe but cosmetically pretty ugly. Since the car was going to be in Florida again for 2 months in 2025 I wanted to do something. I bought the four can package of Woolwax with tube applicator plus the four direction spray nozzle. I had the front of the car up on ramps and with the two nozzles was able to reach most places. It was actually a pretty quick process. I put a drop cloth under the car to catch any overspeay or drips. A professional applicator of Woolwax in my area wanted $1,000 for a complete job and would be doing more than I did. But I did not have time for that. I am going to be watching closely how the product holds up in Florida. I have no reservations applying it again myself but might splurge for the professional application where more prep is done and they reach more places by virtue of a hoist.

First time using this product. Figured I should protect the under carriage of my new truck. Wool wax went on easily, the hardest part of the job is crawl/sliding under the truck. Will be getting more for my other vehicles.

I’ve been using this product for several years now. Every spring I clean the underside of my 2002 and 2003 Ford Excursions!. I’m from Florida and moved to NEW YORK 10 years ago. I had a 2001 Excursion and sold it about 7 years ago and it was perfect so I thought. Never looking at the underside. To my surprise it was rusted to hell ( remember Florida boy) that’s when I started using this product on my trucks. Now they look just as good underneath as the rest of the body!!
